Boasting over thirty years of experience in telecommunications and electronics, Colin’s career highlights include leading GPT to profitable sales in Europe and Hong Kong within three years through innovative CT2 radio technology. He was instrumental in deploying the UK’s first 3G mobile network with 3 UK in 2003.

Colin’s leadership roles span CTO and COO at Orange for International Operations and founding CEO of 3, the UK’s first 3G mobile operator. He oversaw significant investments and strategic initiatives as Deputy Chairman of Hutchison 3G in Europe.

Johann Tse is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in international corporate development, M&A, and capital markets. As the founder and CEO of Aquarian Capital, he has successfully advised and led technology and renewables ventures.

Previously, Johann was the Director of International M&A at Yum! Brands, managing acquisitions, divestitures, and franchising across numerous countries. He also led the corporate venture capital program at Rohm and Haas (now Dow Chemical Co.), focusing on new materials and technologies.
Johann’s career began with Swire Group, where he held various general management roles, including marketing Coca-Cola products in Hong Kong, turning around a snack foods business in China, and establishing a limousine service in Hong Kong. He also spearheaded Swire Group’s corporate development in China, founding 13 companies across multiple industries.
A distinguished leader, Johann has served as Deputy Chairman of the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai and on the boards of the British Chamber of Commerce, Shanghai, and the Dallas Committee on Foreign Relations. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor’s in Electronics Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Dr. Sampson Hu is a pioneering expert in mobile antenna design with 14 years of experience. As the core inventor behind over 80 NVC patents, he has been instrumental in developing Novocomms’ core technology since 2009.

Previously, Dr. Hu was the founder and CTO of Smart Antenna Technologies Limited, where he successfully established a global organization that delivered numerous commercial projects from concept to mass production. He also built a robust supply chain with over 30 manufacturing partners, raised over £6 million in venture capital, and secured significant grants from UK and European bodies.
Dr. Hu holds a BEng in Communication Engineering with Business Management, an MPhil in Antenna Design, and a PhD in Antennas with Frequency Domain Control, all from the University of Birmingham. He has published over 30 papers, holds numerous patents, and has been recognized among the top 50 entrepreneurs by SETsquared in 2017. He continues to serve as a Senior Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham.
Professor Richard Hillum, an award-winning Chair & CEO, brings over 30 years of experience in scaling innovative technology businesses, including seven university-related start-ups in the UK and USA to his role as President.

He has collaborated with industry giants like Nokia and developed telematics for Formula One racing cars.
As the former CEO of HPC Wales, he managed the public Welsh National Supercomputing services and has successfully raised significant investment rounds from VCs, angels, and private equity firms. His academic affiliations include being a Professor at the University of Bristol, a Visiting Professor at the University of Bath, and a Senior Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham. He holds a Securicor MBAÂ and memberships in prestigious organizations such as IEEE, BA Science, and the New York Academy of Science.
In his personal time, Rick enjoys sailing, motorboats, flying aircraft, WWII history, navigation, radar and aviation, and classical music.
